Living in an educational environment, Manish always wanted to work in the education field. Today he is running his father’s educational organisation in an attempt to make it big and constantly striving for it.

Manish Kumawat has been working as an Administrator at Jyoti Shikshan Sansthan since 2002. With the help of such a prolonged experience, he is contributing his full efforts in furthering this institution.

Manish says, since birth, he was surrounded by an educational environment as his father started the educational institution. He saw the struggles of his father and the parents who were thinking of providing education to their children in private schools under very dire circumstances. Considering such struggles, Manish and his brother decided that instead of taking up a job they will do something for society so that the poor children could study in private schools too and progress in life.

Manish says he got an already built and well disciplined school from his father, so the only challenge before him was to keep up the reputation his father had maintained so far and to take it further. He says moving forward was the biggest challenging task as there were many difficulties. Yet he managed to give a hundred percent 10th and 12th Board results. Further he says that his school was one of those institutes of Udaipur, which was giving Gargi Award and hundred percent result for a long time.

About Covid-19, Manish says it has been a different experience for the whole world. It was a struggling time for him personally as well because during this time, he had twin children and growing them both and getting medical treatment was challenging for him. But at the same time, it was an opportunity for him to live with a family that brought old childhood memories along with it. Professionally, he says that school education was badly impacted by Covid but he thinks that schools that maintained the quality and took along humanity, survived.

Manish was a notorious kid in his childhood and now that is benefitting him in maintaining discipline because he knows what kind of mischief the children do. He says, being the youngest in the family, he was the beloved of all and always received all the love and blessings from everyone. In terms of studies, he says he was an average student and completed his school education from his own school only. After that he did B.C.A. from Shramjeevi College, Udaipur.

Manish has had two role models in his lifetime. First is his father, Girdhari Lal Kumawat, who struggled a lot since he was in 6th std and moved on with small tasks. At the age of twenty-one, he started the school without donation and only by the fees collected from parents. Building upon that, today this organisation has five of its own buildings and it has been able to make its place among the reputed institutions of Udaipur. He also considers his elder brother, Dr. Rajnish Kumawat, as his role model because he gets a lot of positive energy from him.

Manish believes that education and experience should have a perfect combination to move ahead. But sometimes in life such situations are created that, in absence of education, experience works and it educates you. So he believes that experience is more important than education to move ahead in life.

Being from the computer field, Manish likes to surf the net and watch D.I.Y. projects in his free time along with creating new websites. He is fond of swimming and playing badminton too.

If Manish ever gets a chance to go back in life then he would like to go to the golden time of his childhood when he used to walk holding his father’s finger.

According to Manish, people who have patience and the spirit of sacrifice, should come in school education because it is a noble profession. He thinks that today’s generation wants to make quick money so they should not come into this field because then they would not be able to contribute to society.

Manish suggests youngsters that as today’s era is of social media, so you should use it as a positive tool instead of being misguided by it because it ultimately harms the society.
