Manish Agrawal is the owner of a sweet shop in Orai city.

Manish Agrawal hails from Orai city in Uttar Pradesh. He has received education till high school. He was the eldest among all siblings and was supposed to take care of family responsibilities.

After completing his education, Manish got into business and set up a footwear shop which didn’t prove lucrative and ultimately got seized by police in view of illegal encroachment policy. However with his first business, he gained a good knowledge of the market and learned how to deal with customers efficiently.

Manish then saw opportunity in shop vending business in fairs and used to move around with fairs for two years. After some time, a friend of his offered him to start a sweet shop in partnership. He readily agreed and returned to his hometown and started off the business in the lockdown period. Although initially it was difficult for them to do business in the lockdown period as there were time restrictions and less customers, now their business has gained pace and everything is going well for Manish.

Manish says that persistent hard work and never-give-up attitude helped him to overcome the challenges of his life. And he suggests everyone that problems are part of life but a never-give-attitude will help you thrive in adverse situations.
