Maninder was born in Shutrana, Patiala. She always had the zeal to work and earn from an early age in life and wanted to grow and help her family. Maninder says that her father used to talk highly about media work and hence she decided to come into this field to fulfill his dream. Maninder was also told that not many Dastar-wearing girls make it in this field, but she did not give any heed to such comments.

Maninder laments that much negative perception is created against the media field but the reality is not so. She feels that it is a very good field to work in and opines that no industry is bad to work in.

Talking about her mistakes, Maninder says that she trusted people too easily in life and learned that she should not make friends too easily.

Whenever Maninder is happy or sad, she likes to visit a Gurudwara and listen to Gurbani to calm her senses down.

Maninder feels that the greatest achievement of her life is that she has earned some good friends.

Maninder says that to come into the media field, one should have good knowledge about things and the confidence to work on any project.

Maninder feels that struggles are there in everyone’s life and the focus should be on overcoming those problems and moving on.

In her free time, she likes listening to the songs of Satinder Sartaaj and watching motivational videos of people like Sandeep Maheshwari.
