A devoted peon, Mangi Lal is working hard to make a living.

Mangi Lal Kalal has been working as a peon at Vidya Bhawan Polytechnic College in Udaipur since 1993.

Mangi Lal lives in Udaipur. He belongs to Charoda village. He feels that he had a blessed childhood in which he enjoyed traditional sports and lived the life of a villager. He studied in his village up to sixth grade.

Sharing his struggles in life, Mangi Lal says that his family was not in a good financial condition, so he left his studies and came to Udaipur. He started with just four rupees per day which was a very meager amount. But he kept patience and went on working hard in his field for 13 years. Then he gave an interview in Vidya Bhawan and got selected and since then he is working here and making a living, says Mangi Lal.

When asked about role models in his life, Mangi Lal says that Bhoo Sahab in Vidya Bhawan guided him how to keep going in life. He helped him in various ways, says Mangi Lal.

Talking about his Covid experience, Mangilal says that he got a big setback and faced losses during the pandemic.

एक समर्पित चपरासी मांगी लाल जीवनयापन करने के लिए कड़ी मेहनत कर रहे है।

मांगी लाल कलाल 1993 से उदयपुर के विद्या भवन पॉलिटेक्निक कॉलेज में चपरासी के रूप में कार्यरत हैं।

मांगीलाल उदयपुर में रहते हैं। वह चरोदा गांव के रहने वाले हैं। उन्हें लगता है कि उनका बचपन धन्य था जिसमें उन्होंने पारंपरिक खेलों का आनंद लिया और एक ग्रामीण का जीवन व्यतीत किया। उन्होंने छठी कक्षा तक अपने गांव में पढ़ाई की।

अपने जीवन के संघर्षों को साझा करते हुए मांगीलाल कहते हैं कि उनके परिवार की आर्थिक स्थिति ठीक नहीं थी, इसलिए वे पढ़ाई छोड़कर उदयपुर आ गए। उन्होंने महज चार रुपए प्रतिदिन से शुरुआत की थी जो कि बहुत ही कम राशि थी। लेकिन उन्होंने सब्र रखा और 13 साल तक अपने फील्ड में मेहनत करते रहे। फिर उन्होंने विद्या भवन में इंटरव्यू दिया और उनका चयन हो गया और तब से वह यहीं काम कर रहे है और जीविकोपार्जन कर रहे है, मांगीलाल कहते हैं।
