Mangesh is a Dance Teacher based in Pune. He has been teaching Dance since 2013.
Mangesh shares that he has always liked to dance for as long as he can remember. In his childhood, he would just dance without heeding what others thought of him. Successes and failures never really bothered him. However, his dancing career picked up in real sense only when in 2015, he won nationals of a dance championship and also when two of his students qualified for an international dance championship in Thailand.
Mangesh shares that he was not interested in studies much, he attended school just for his parents’ sake. However, he always knew that if he didn’t do what he was interested in then he would fail in life.
Talking about struggles in his life, Mangesh says that he used to wash cars to pay for his expenses and later he also had to struggle to get students for his dance classes. But today, he has his own house and is doing well in his life.
Madhurit Dixit is his biggest role model and someone who he emulates as a dancer. Besides, his high school Math teacher is also an inspiration to him.
Talking about his childhood, Magesh says that his childhood was spent in a slum. He says living in a slum taught him to live with unity without discriminating against anyone or anything. However, later his parents sent him to a hostel and there he grew up further. He is reminiscent of his childhood pastimes.
His Success Mantra is to achieve his goals however tough the road may be.
To parents his piece of advice is to let their children follow their passion and never to impose their aspirations on them.
Magnesh is always seen either teaching or doing dance. However, when he’s not dancing, he likes to snack off or watch movies or web series on OTT platforms.
