Maitri left her banking job in the government sector just to find herself. And soon she became a Social Media Marketer and Podcaster, who is changing the lives of others.

Maitri Verma is a Social Media Marketer and Podcaster. She started working as a Podcaster in the year 2019 with ‘Little Fixes Podcast’ to help women excel in all the spheres of life.

Maitri belongs to Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. She did all her schooling, and B.Sc and M.Sc in Microbiology from there itself. She got her first job in a government bank there. After two years, she got married in Jaipur and left her Banking job for having no interest in it.

Soon, she went to Germany for a year where she got acquainted with the world of the Internet and its usefulness on a large scale. That’s when she started her Social Media career with a blog in 2014. Slowly she started getting good exposure in this field and did writing jobs too at some agencies in Jaipur. Continuing on this journey, she came across Jenna Kuther’s Gold Digger Podcast. Feeling enamored with it, she also stepped into Podcasting. Since then she has been doing well as a Podcaster too.

Talking about Role Models, Maitri says that she draws inspiration from Anamika Sureka as because of her, Maitri was able to set her foot in the Social Media field. In addition, she considers her friend Preeti as her role model as she always stands by her. She also takes inspiration from her husband for believing in her and always supporting her no matter what.

About the Covid pandemic, Maitri says that during its first wave, she spent quality time with her family and stayed at home. She thoroughly enjoyed that time with her daughter. But it didn’t make much difference because anyway her work was online based. And that doesn’t require stepping out of the house. But when she herself got infected with this disease during the second wave, then her work was affected as she could not post any blog on social media. That was a challenging time for her because as soon as she recovered from that disease, she lost her father to Covid.

Maitri opines that Education is not necessary to make a career, but to live life in a true sense, it plays a pivotal role in everybody’s life. Education provides a logical view in dealing with any situation in life. Further she says that on the basis of Experience, you can go a long way in life but a basic education is necessary to move forward in everyone’s life.

Regarding Leadership, Maitri says that she never considered herself a leader. She thinks that being a leader is a very big responsibility which needs a correct person to do this job. She thinks that a good leader is the one who takes his subordinates along and thinks about their achievements too.

In her spare time, Maitri likes to play with her daughter and go out. Plus she enjoys Reading, Drawing and watching Netflix.

If Maitri had a Time Machine and she could go back in time, then she would like to go back to her college days and she would have chosen Mass Communication or Fashion Designing as her career option instead of Science.
