Mahipal decided to quit wine manufacturing in order to serve humanity. He started working in the field of education to inculcate the feeling of patriotism and allegiance towards religion into the students.

Mahipal Singh Rathore originally belonged to the Chindaliya village in Makrana Tehsil of Nagaur district. In 1956, his father came to Udaipur to study at the Rajasthan College of Agriculture, Udaipur and after completing his studies, he served the same college. Owing to which they settled in Udaipur only.

Mahipal says that he was born in Udaipur and till 8th std he went to Kendriya Vidyalaya, then he studied in B.N. School. After that he got his bachelor’s degree from Science College and did P.G. in Chemistry from B.N. College. After doing M.Sc. in Chemistry in 1990, Mahipal worked as a Chemist in Udaipur Distillery and working there he thought that no matter how hard he worked, how well he could do and even if he’ll make the best wine, then apart from spoiling people’s bodies, nothing good can happen. Therefore, his feelings towards this job got disturbed and so he did B.Ed. Thereafter, for some time he was PGT Chemistry in K.V. and then he joined government service.

Mahipal says that as a RSS volunteer, his responsibilities kept on increasing from handling a single shakha to becoming a Mandal Worker. Then he was given the responsibility of the rural area that is the Girwa Tehsil around Udaipur. After two years, he discharged the responsibilities of a District Worker for seven years. Then he served the Intellectual Education Department as an Executive for ten years. Since 2012, he is continuously providing his services as a Dharm Jagran Province Coordinator as a member of the executive committee of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.

Mahipal says, although there were many obstacles in government service, he never cared about any. Whenever he was harassed politically by transfers, he considered those as a reward and in whatever area he was sent, he always tried to give his best.

About childhood, Mahipal says that he has had five siblings and his father was a lecturer. The financial condition was not so good so they lived a normal life with minimum facilities available. He thinks that because of living together, he got good values and sacraments which instilled in his mind to live with his parents forever.

Mahipal believes that along with education, experience also contributes a lot and he has gained with the experience of elders. He listens to their experiences and tries to make decisions accordingly that benefited him greatly in life.

Since childhood, Mahipal is very fond of reading biographies of great men like Chhatrapati Shivaji, Maharana Pratap, Maharana Sanga and others who did great work for the country and their biographies motivate him to work in a different way.

Mahipal advises all the teachers that if you adopt only two things in your life, then you will never have to compromise. First learn to make a living with the salary you get and second, do your work by going to the place where you have been posted.

Mahipal doesn’t like to sit idle so whenever he gets free time, he keeps on studying to get better in his field of work and likes to spend time with his well-wishers, friends and organization workers.
