Mahipal Singh Rathore is a tourist guide who runs his venture under the name Maharaja Desert Safari in Pushkar.

Mahipal belongs to a small village near Pushkar. He completed his schooling in Pushkar. Mahipal shares that his grandfather started this business, which was carried forward by his father. After his father’s death, Mahipal took over the family business along with his brother.

Sharing his pandemic experience, Mahipal says that since shops were temporarily closed, he resorted to farming. Even after the restrictions were lifted, Mahipal had to face a low footfall of tourists.

When asked about his mistakes, Mahipal shares that when he initially joined the business, he couldn’t communicate well with the guests. His uncle helped him out of the situation, and within six months, Mahipal started gaining confidence.

Drawing a comparison between education and experience, Mahipal says that both education and experience are important to prospering in life.

If Mahipal could travel back in time through a time machine, he would relive his school days, which were a period full of enjoyment and no stress.
