Mahesh Dadhich started his professional career in the insurance sector. Later he switched to the banking industry. He has 13 years of experience working in the banking industry. He has worked with leading banks and risen through the ranks within the industry and currently is the chief branch manager at IDFC First Bank in Udaipur.

Mahesh Dadhich was born and brought up in Bhilwara. He completed his schooling at a government school in Bhilwara. After his graduation, he went to Jaipur and completed his MBA. He got a campus placement offer and came back to Bhilwara as his first posting was in Bhilwara only. He started his professional career in the insurance sector. After working in the insurance sector for a short stint he realized that he should do something better. So he joined the banking industry and worked at a leading bank in the credit and loan department. Later he switched to the sales domain at another leading bank.

Mahesh says that when he switched to the sales domain, it was a very challenging time for him. He had never worked in sales before and it took him some time to adapt to the new environment. Now it’s been 13 years of working in the banking industry and he has risen through the ranks and currently working as the chief branch manager at IDFC First Bank in Udaipur.

Mahesh considers his senior Mr. Bhargava his role model. He says that Mr. Bhargava has always taught him to never give up, no matter what.

Mahesh is of the opinion that education and experience both are important in life. Education lays out a path to the corporate world. But it’s the experience that helps you grow in your career and reach the top.

To anyone who wants to join the banking industry, Mahesh advises that this industry has long working hours. So being self-motivated is very necessary. Besides, one should have good communication skills. He thinks that the banking industry has a good future and even during a recession this industry works, so employment opportunities are always there.

If he could go back in time and choose an alternative career option for himself, Mahesh would want to join the Indian Army and serve the nation.

Reflecting on his childhood, Mahesh says that he loved to play cricket. Even during his exams he would play cricket and score more than those who would just study.

To unwind himself from his work, Mahesh likes to play Carrom with his daughter. He also likes to call his parents a couple of times a day as it helps him relieve the stress of the day.
