Mahendra Paliwal is a teacher at a government school in his village.
Mahendra hails from the Gogunda tehsil in Udaipur. He completed his schooling at government schools in Gogunda itself. Then he did a BA from VBRI in Udaipur. Thereafter he did a B.Ed.
Mahendra says that after completing his B.Ed., he started preparing for government teaching job examinations. In 2012, he got selected as a third-grade teacher. In 2015, he passed the exams for both second-grade and first-grade government teaching jobs. Currently, he is a lecturer of Hindi at a government school.
Sharing about his journey of becoming a government teacher, Mahendra says that after completing his schooling in his village, he then came to Udaipur to attend college. He says, along with pursuing his bachelors, he would also assist his father at his canteen at Seva Mandir head office in Udaipur. He says he would get inspired by the students who study at Seva Mandir Library. And when some of the students motivated and guided him to prepare for government job exams, he too started studying at Seva Mandir library and thus passed the exams he aimed for.
To people aspiring to become government teachers, Mahendra advises them to always remain dedicated to their goals and work hard to achieve them. Besides, he advises them to start preparing for the exam during their bachelors itself.
Mahendra shares that he is also a master trainer at the NCC wing of the school he teaches at. He prepares the students at the school to complete the NCC ‘C’ level certification.
