Having worked in different industries, Mahendra found his solace in the teaching profession, where he continues to guide and mentor students along the way.

Mahendra Pal is a Chemistry lecturer at Vidya Bhawan Polytechnic College. He has been associated with the institute for the past six years.

Mahendra finished his schooling in the Sirohi district before pursuing his B.Sc.Thereafter, he did his M.Sc in Organic Chemistry and B.Ed. at Vidya Bhawan College. Mahendra is currently pursuing his PhD.

Mahendra also has industrial experience of three years. Thereafter, he came across a vacancy at Vidya Bhawan and joined the institution.

When asked about his role models, Mahendra says he draws inspiration from Mahatma Gandhi. He is inspired by his quote, "There is enough for everybody's needs but not for anyone's greed." On the family front, he considers his father his role model.

Sharing his pandemic experience, Mahendra says that the institute supported and guided all the lecturers in taking online classes. He adds that, due to the lockdowns, he had ample time to study, learn and update himself with the latest developments to impart the same to his students.

Mahendra advises aspiring polytechnic students to stick to their chosen field and not change their minds time and again. He advises aspiring teachers to have enough knowledge about their subject and to interact well with the students. Mahendra advises everyone to keep a balance between their career and family time.

His mantra for success is to work with a full heart and never feel tired in the process. He adds that one should never lose hope when they come across failures.

In his free time, Mahendra focuses on his studies, spends time with his family, and travels.
