Mahboob Khan comes from the town of Kishanganj in Baran district of Rajasthan.

Mahboob is an active member of the Hadoti Blood Donors Society. Hadoti Blood Donors Society has been working since 2016 for raising awareness for blood donation and serving as a medium for people who want to donate blood. It has organised about one hundred three camps all around Kota, Baran and Jhalawar and has collected a staggering eleven thousand units of blood altogether. The society also clears many myths related to blood donation like it leads to weakness

Mahboob informs that anyone in the age group of eighteen to sixty five who has a minimum forty eight kilograms of weight is eligible to donate. And just within twenty four hours of donation the blood gets regenerated into the body and the donor can donate again after a period of three months.

Mahboob also advises everyone to donate blood as he mentions that only one percent of the population of the country donates blood. He says that if at least ten percent of the population starts donating, all the blood banks will remain full and eventually no one will ever have to run around in need of blood.

महबूब हाड़ौती ब्लड डोनर सोसाइटी के सक्रिय सदस्य हैं। रक्तदान के लिए जागरूकता बढ़ाने और रक्तदान करने के इच्छुक लोगों के लिए एक माध्यम के रूप में सेवा करने के लिए हाड़ौती ब्लड डोनर सोसाइटी 2016 से काम कर रही है। इसने कोटा, बारां और झालावाड़ के चारों ओर लगभग एक सौ तीन शिविर आयोजित किए हैं और कुल मिलाकर ग्यारह हजार यूनिट रक्त एकत्र किया है। सोसाइटी रक्तदान से जुड़े कई मिथकों को भी दूर करटी है जैसे कि इससे कमजोरी आती है ।

महबूब बताते हैं कि अठारह से पैंसठ वर्ष की आयु का कोई भी व्यक्ति जिसका कम से कम अड़तालीस किलोग्राम वजन है, वह रक्तदान करने के योग्य है। और रक्तदान करने के चौबीस घंटे के भीतर ही शरीर में रक्त पुन: उत्पन्न हो जाता है और दाता तीन महीने की अवधि के बाद फिर से दान कर सकता है।
