Inspired by his elder brother, Mahaveer studied the nitty-gritty of sculpting and fine arts to impart knowledge to students as well as to carve his name in this artistic field.

Mahaveer Bharti is a sculptor and artist who has been in this creative field for many years. He particularly works with metals like bronze, brass and aluminum, and glass and marble.

Mahaveer was born in the Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan, where he also completed his school education. Mahaveer chose painting as his 11th and 12th grade subject after being inspired by his older brother, who used to paint. He was suggested by his mentor to study art and painting in Jaipur. Thereafter, Mahaveer enrolled himself in the Rajasthan School of Arts and studied fine arts there.

Recalling his childhood, Mahaveer shares that he has six more siblings. He spent his childhood helping his father and taking certain responsibilities on his shoulders. Mahaveer recollects going to the farm first thing in the morning and then attending school.

Talking about his challenges, Mahaveer says that creating his own identity in the field of sculpture amongst well-established artists came as a challenge to him. He began his career as a teacher in a private school. Mahaveer also tried his luck for government jobs but couldn’t make it. This propelled him to create employment opportunities instead of finding one.

However, it was with his friends' and parents' support that he continued to grow and progress in this creative field.

When asked about his mistakes, Mahaveer says that trusting anyone blindly was one of the major mistakes that he made.

Speaking of his role models, Mahaveer says he draws inspiration from Padmashree Ram Suthar and Rai Prasad Chaudhary and admires them for the work they do.

His hobbies include listening to music and exploring places.

Mahaveer’s life mantra is to work hard and take all decisions with wisdom.
