The closer you are to nature, the closer you get to yourself.
The closer you are to nature, the closer you get to yourself.
Madhvika Rathore was born in Vadodara, Gujarat. She was raised in a small village near Ratlam. She did her schooling till 6th there itself and then moved to Udaipur for further studies.
During the final years of her BBA, Madhvika was still feeling an emptiness and wanted to do something more. It was around this time a friend called her asking about help related to yoga. Madhvika had been doing yoga since her school days and after teaching that friend, she realized that this was the field she wanted to be in.
Madhvika then started teaching yoga in 2016. She says that her initial struggle was finding people interested in learning yoga. Yoga was not that mainstream at that point in time. Also, finding the right place to take classes was also an issue.
Madhvika says that yoga is something that not only keeps you physically fit but also helps your mental health. She claims yoga helped a lot of people in the post-covid phase. It also helped in maintaining a good immunity level during bad times.
Madhvika feels that education and experience both go hand in hand. With education, one cannot go far ahead in the game and without experience one cannot polish the skills they have learned.
Madhvika thinks that leadership is all about taking everyone together and working as a team. She feels that the job becomes easy when everyone is working in unison.
Madhvika shares that her role model is Sri Sri Ravi Shankar who started singlehandedly and set up this huge community of people sharing their feelings and growing together. She says that no matter what, he always has a smile on his face.
If given a chance to go back in a Time Machine, Madhvika would like to go back to her childhood when life was easy and playful.
In her free time, she loves reading books, watching movies, and spending time with nature.
