Goodness in your heart can make the world a better place.
Madhu Sudan Sen is from Pushkar. He runs a salon that's been in his family for five generations, making him the fifth-generation salon owner.
Looking back at his childhood, Madhu remembers the joy of playing with bicycle tires, chasing vehicles, farming, and milking cows. Games like ‘gulli danda’ and ‘sitoliya’ were his favorites. He believes outdoor play keeps them healthy, unlike today's children who spend time on mobile phones, leading to problems. Their diet of millet and corn rotis was healthier than today's pizzas and burgers, says Madhu.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Madhu faced challenges in paying his children's fees and electricity bills. With faith in Lord Mahadev's blessings, he managed to thrive. People's fear of the virus affected his salon business as they hesitated to visit the salon.
His brother is his role model, who taught him that the world mirrors one's own behavior—goodness or negativity.
For Madhu, experiences matter more than education. He strongly believes in Lord Mahadev and encourages spirituality for all.
Given a time machine to go back in time, Madhu would revisit his childhood—when life was simpler, full of community work, and stress-free.
Madhu advises young people to reduce phone use, play outdoors, respect others, avoid littering, communicate kindly, and live a harmonious life.
