Lubna Khan, a social media and content manager, has been working at Seniority Pvt. Ltd & Evergreen Club in Pune. She has been working in this field for over five years and has gained extensive experience in creating and managing social media campaigns, content creation, and community engagement.

Lubna completed her entire school and college education in Pune. Reflecting on her childhood, she recalls being a reserved child who found joy in the company of a small circle of friends. However, with age, she blossomed into a more outgoing and confident individual.

Talking about challenges, Lubna says that her professional journey was not smooth at all because initially she wanted to become a journalist, and for that, she had to go to Mumbai for an internship at Zee News, but for some reason she could not go. Then she took a job in Pune, which was so far away from her home that it became difficult for her to commute every day by private cabs, and she was not even paid much. But she learned a lot from all these things and moved on with her life. She calls herself fortunate to work with such companies, where she never faced any discrimination as a woman. She always received equal respect and opportunities for growth.

Moreover, she acknowledges that her early experiences working with different supervisors taught her the importance of not imposing one's own ideas on others. Instead, she gained a valuable lesson in respecting and appreciating the diversity of perspectives and opinions.

Lubna, the eldest child, took on house responsibilities at a young age and started working at nineteen to support her family after her father lost his inherited business. Despite challenges, she managed her work and studies, never giving up. This situation has made her strong, allowing her to overcome any bad phase in life and consider every problem a small one. She used to keep saying that the rough time would pass, and this motivated her to keep moving forward.

Lubna states that she has made a lot of mistakes in her life, but she has also gained a lot of knowledge from them. She advises people to learn from their experiences by making mistakes themselves, but to strive to avoid repeating them. Mistakes, in her opinion, are an inevitable part of human growth. She has gained insightful knowledge and improved her decision-making in the future by accepting her mistakes. On the other hand, Lubna stresses the significance of learning from past mistakes, as they impede one's advancement and limit their potential.

As an accomplishment, Lubna says that for her, from where she started and where she is now, and with the salary package she is working on and the opportunities she has been given, she has been able to achieve her goals and improve her life. She believes that her success is a direct result of acknowledging and learning from her past mistakes. Additionally, Lubna feels a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction, knowing that she has overcome obstacles and made significant progress in her personal and professional journey.

When asked about her role models, Lubna says that although she never got any guidance from anyone in her life, she admires her parents a lot for letting her become independent at such a young age.  In her professional life, she gives credit to her bosses for respecting her opinion and supporting her to move ahead in her career. In her personal life, besides her sister, who was a big support, her friends have always been her support and have always stood by her whenever she needed them.

In addition, she also attributes her strong sense of self-reliance to the various challenges she faced growing up. These experiences taught her the importance of perseverance and self-motivation, shaping her into the independent individual she is today. Furthermore, she believes that her ability to surround herself with a supportive network of loved ones has played a crucial role in her personal and professional growth.

When free, Lubna enjoys watching movies as a way to relax and escape reality. Her dog and cat also keep her on her feet. She loves spending time with them and playing with them. Her other interest lies in painting portraits and landscapes. She enjoys traveling too, and before the pandemic, she used to travel frequently to explore new places and cultures. Eating out and trying new cuisines is also one of her favorite hobbies.

One quote from Buddhism that always inspires her and keeps her going is: 'Wherever you go, try to be the "Sun" of that place, shining brightly, being an ideal, and bringing warmth and light to those around you.' This quote motivates her to put all her heart into everything she does, spreading positivity and joy wherever she goes.
