With a jeweller background and the will to become an Entrepreneur, Lovely started her own jewellery making company.

Lovely Shah is the Founder at Garnet Jewels By Lovely.

Lovely hails from Surat, Gujarat. She says that her family has been in the jewellery business for a long time and her grandfather was also a jeweller.

Talking about her company, Lovely says that Garnet Jewels designs exquisite bridal Jewellery with gold, polki, and diamond. She says that coming from a jewellers’ family and growing up in Surat gave her enough knowledge about the business to start her own business. She says that started her business while she was in college which came as a surprise to her friends and family, but starting early benefited her greatly. Currently she has clients from all around India due to her USP of systematic work and budget jewellery. She says that as she has a family of jewellers getting quality raw material was never a problem for her and thus she can provide jewellery in all price ranges.

Speaking of her mistakes, Lovely says that initially she thought of herself to be a designer and not a marketer so she missed marketing opportunities in her business. She adds that gradually she learned and corrected her mistakes by handling both the aspects of her business herself.

Talking about her achievements, Lovely says that she has designed jewellery for more than fifty brides and has satisfied them completely. She says that retaining her clients has been her biggest accomplishment.

Advising the upcoming generation in her field, Lovely says that you should strive for authenticity in your products as in this competitive world, you build faith only by being original.

Lovely considers  her husband and her brother as her mentors who always supported and motivated her. She further adds that her clients’ appreciation also motivates her.

In her free time, Lovely learns marketing strategies and manages her company’s Instagram account to make it more aesthetic and appealing.

On a final note, Lovely advises everyone to be vulnerable. She says that being vulnerable is the key to success as it has a friendly charm attached to it.
