Dr. Leeladhar Sharma hails from the serene village of Kailashpuri near Udaipur and is a passionate educator. He is working as a Hindi and Sanskrit teacher at Alok Senior Secondary School and teaching students in grades 9 and 10.
Dr. Leeladhar is trying his best to give education and provide values to all students. With heartfelt gratitude, he acknowledges the mentorship of Shri Shyamlal Kumawat, affectionately known as Acharya Ji, whose teachings sculpted him into the nurturing educator he is today.
He shares that Alok Sr. Sec. School is a model school in terms of the long-lasting relationships that are formed here, which are evidence of the school's focus on imparting moral principles and personal attributes in addition to academic skills to its students. Years later, teachers still truly recognise and remember their students' names, which is a testament to the strong sense of belonging and community that is created there.
When asked about his role models, Dr. Leeladhar says that, along with his parents, who have been his lifelong supporters, he draws inspiration from his esteemed role model, Shri Shyamlal Kumawat. He regards Alok School Director Dr. Pradeep Kumawat as a mentor in his professional life.
Dr. Leeladhar acknowledges that Alok School has not only helped him establish his own identity among the students but also given him recognition; this is evidence of the school's transformational power on both teachers and students.
Because of his father's postings, Dr. Leeladhar had to deal with the difficulties of shifting cities during his early school years in government schools. Despite the difficulties, he remembers a crucial occasion when his father's perseverance helped him learn to swim in just three hours—a sign of fortitude in the face of difficulty.
Nevertheless, after completing his PHED, one of his most heartbreaking experiences was the sadness of not getting an interview call for a lectureship position in RPSC due to overage issues.
Dr. Leeladhar found comfort in Alok Senior Sec. School, where he felt a sense of community and contentment. But tragedy struck during the COVID pandemic when his mother passed away in June 2020, made worse by the fact that there were no mourners there because of the limitations. Financial difficulties resulted from this personal tragedy, but Dr. Leeladhar's circumstances progressively stabilized with the school's reopening, providing comfort in the midst of sorrow.
Given a chance to revisit his past and fix any regrets, Dr. Leeladhar says he has a desire to rectify missed opportunities, particularly aspiring to pursue a career as a lecturer, a path he felt was denied despite possessing the qualifications.
Dr. Leeladhar highlights Sanskrit's significant global impact, giving instances such as the national motto "Satyamev Jayate" on banknotes and the Sanskrit phrase "योगक्षेमं वहाम्यहम्" below LIC's emblem. It means "I carry what they lack and preserve what they have," which alludes to LIC's commitment to safeguarding the well-being and security of its policyholders. It emphasizes how the ageless knowledge of Sanskrit embodies ideals of safety and well-being and penetrates all facets of society.
While talking about hobbies, Dr. Leeladhar says he enjoys painting and has a talent for carpentry and construction. In addition to teaching swimming to children in his area, he is an expert in astrological consulting. As a priest, he also finds fulfillment in performing religious rites, which highlights his commitment and spiritual connection.
