Laxmi Ranawat is a school teacher who also loves dancing. She considers her mother a role model and has learned values of life from her.

Laxmi Ranawat has been a pre-primary teacher in Alok Senior Secondary School, Udaipur Rajasthan for the past two years. She has experience of seven years in the teaching field.  She was born and brought up in Bhilwara, Rajasthan, and after marriage moved to Udaipur.

Laxmi remembers her childhood and says that once she lied to her mother and was very afraid to accept it before her. However, when she told her mother, Laxmi’s mother consoled her and humbly asked her not to repeat it in the future. Laxmi regards it as one of the most important life lessons for her.

Laxmi says that many people were against her studies. Her father was often told by people not to get his daughter educated. After marriage, she faced difficulties in her job. Laxmi says that life is full of struggles and one should not worry about it and keep moving.

Laxmi says that Covid was a tough time for her. Being a Pre-Primary teacher, many parents were reluctant to opt for online studies saying that their kids are too small for this. However, she convinced them that studies are very important and they should support her in this. She says that maintaining discipline and punctuality was also a difficult task while teaching online.

Laxmi feels that both education and experience are necessary for life. She says that without education one will not be able to work anywhere and hence would not gain any experience. Laxmi believes that education and experience are connected deeply.

She believes that everyone has a leader within them. Laxmi says that a leader should work in a collective manner and should never keep his/her personal interests forward.

Laxmi says that for being a teacher one needs patience and a composed temper. A teacher has to deal with various types of students and should never lose their temper.

If given a Time Machine, Laxmi would like to go back to her school days and relive those memories with her friends.

Laxmi considers her mother as her role model. Laxmi’s mother always supported her and pushed for her studies. She also taught Laxmi the wise values of life and made her strong.

In her free time, Laxmi likes to dance. Whenever she is stressed, she plays any music and starts dancing.
