Lalit has been associated with Alok School since 1995. He feels grateful to this institution which inspired him to value ethics and put Indian culture above everything else.

Lalit Kumawat has been working as an Office In-charge at Alok School, Udaipur. He has been associated with Alok Sansthan since 1995 and worked as a teacher for the first five years. He also has a part-time business in the hotel and travel line.

Lalit did his schooling from Alok School itself. Along with studies, he was good at swimming too and has also played at the national level.

When asked about his role models, Lalit says that Shantilal Kumawat, the founder  of the Alok Group of Schools, has always been Lalit’s role model. Also, his maternal uncle and Dr. Pradeep Kumawat, Director at Alok school, have been his role models, as he has got to learn a lot from them.

Talking about the pandemic, Lalit says that like everyone else, he too had a bad COVID experience. He tried hard to take care of himself and his family, in order to avoid infection. On the professional front, despite the closure of the school, he used to go to the office alone for regular office work and management, which happened to be frightening for him.

Lalit spends his free time doing social, religious and political work. Besides, he helps his children in their business.

Lalit believes that the earlier teachers were always dedicated to their work, which is not seen in the teachers of today's generation. He thinks that today’s generation have become more selfish and cannot rise above themselves so that devotion and punctuality is not seen in them. Hence, he advises the youth to give special attention to your family as well as your social workplace.
