After getting inspired by her aunt, Kusum made her career in the makeup industry and has accumulated a 14 year long experience in the field.

Kusum Sharma is the Owner of Kiara Beauty Salon.

Kusum hails from Udaipur. She has done her schooling from RMV, Udaipur and followed it by a private degree course from MLSU.

After a brief break following her graduation, Kusum entered the makeup industry. At first, she got a job and later she opened her own salon.

Comparing education and experience, Kusum says that experience matters more in life as she learned during her job that meeting new people and working hands adds value to our knowledge.

Kusum considers her aunt as her role model, who had done a beauty parlour course but wasn’t able to make her career in this field due to family reasons. She says that despite not being able to make her own career, her aunt ended up inspiring Kusum to do something independently in her life as well.

Given a chance to go back in time with a time machine, Kusum would like to relive her carefree and joyful childhood.

Sharing her COVID experience, Kusum says that while she got to enjoy quality time with her family during the lockdown, it was an equally unfortunate situation as many people in her family got infected with the virus and had a tough time.

Advising the young generation, Kusum says that there’s no success without hard work, and dedicated efforts.
