Working with honesty and dedication never gets wasted.
Kushagra Chaurasiya is a college student and a young entrepreneur. He, along with his friend, is trying to bring back the traditional way of life by popularizing clay utensils.
Kushagra shares that he comes from a middle-class family and was sent to his Nani’s place in Jhansi to pursue his education. He says that he was never good at his studies. After taking commerce in his 11th, he was also quite sure that doing CA was not his cup of tea and hence started looking for alternate options.
Kushagra says that soon after his 12th, he got an offer to get into Network Marketing. He saw it as an opportunity to enhance his communication skills and confidence and hence took the offer. He feels that when you come from a middle-class family, working and supporting your family is a natural inclination. He also thought on the same lines before getting into Network Marketing. He says that it greatly benefitted him in overall personality development.
In the second year of his college, his friend came up with a business idea that Kushagra liked a lot and they both started working on it and started ‘Cossoil’. Their motivation was to provide an eco-friendly substitute for our utensils and travel back to the basics. He says that eating in clay utensils is healthy and also increases immunity. They also take care of the pricing and provide it at a reasonable cost to the customers. He remembers that when they ordered their first batch of products and did ample marketing, it was all sold in just one day. Kushagra says that it boosted their confidence a lot.
Kushagra says that during the Covid pandemic, their exams got postponed. He started learning painting from his brother who is a pro in it. He also tried his hand in cooking. However, the saddest part of it was that he lost his father during this time. The family was shattered to pieces but Kushagra says that they are trying to get back to normal now.
Kushagra says that his father was his role model. His father used to say that honesty always pays and one should be true to his work. For Kushagra, his father was a hero who had a solution for everything in life.
If given a chance to go back in time, Kushagra would like to go back to when he had a small disagreement with his father and regrets it now.
