A musician who started his music journey at an early age, Kunal still considers himself a learner and believes in being focused.

Kunal Patil is a musician and plays the piano. He is also into Indian classical music and plays the tabla.

Hailing from Bhopal, Kunal came into the music industry in 2014. He wanted to do something apart from studies, and music had always been his interest. He started by playing the keyboard. Later, he got interested in Indian classical music and started learning vocals. He also learned the tabla and the cajon, and is currently learning to play the guitar.

Sharing his achievements, Kunal says he got an opportunity to learn music production from KM Music Conservatory, and playing a track in front of A R Rahman is his biggest achievement. He also got various awards in school and college. Furthermore, once he sang "Saraswati Vandana" before former president Ram Nath Kovind, which is also a huge achievement for him. He has also performed at Madhur Sharma’s shows and Vilen’s concerts.

Regretting his mistakes, Kunal says he did not take music seriously in his early days, which was a mistake.

When asked about his role model, Kunal says he considers his guru a role model who taught him the tabla, Indian classical music, and much more. He also looks up to A. R. Rahman as a role model.

Kunal says his family wanted him to become a musician and supported him in choosing music as a career. He believes music helps in focusing better  and also influences personal growth.

Talking about struggles, Kunal says he faced challenges in learning Indian classical music because he was not much interested in classical music. It led to an increase in his challenges to collaborate with other musicians.

Kunal’s life mantra is "To be well focused."

Advising new musicians, Kunal says not everyone can come into this field. If anyone thinks of music as a career, they will have to do a lot of hard work.
