Kuldeep got interested in mass media and became a Director of Photography. Because of his honesty and hard work, he has reached a good position in this field.

Kuldeep Singh Rawat has been working as a Director of Photography for the last seven years. Currently he is working in Delhi and takes up projects from all over India. He deals in the genres of films, government projects, local ads and commercials.

Kuldeep belongs to Koti village of Tehri district in Uttrakhand. He took his primary education from his village itself. He did his secondary and higher secondary from a school near his village. Then he went to Delhi to do something in the IT sector but after studying for two-three months, he felt that he was not a good fit for this field. He had an inclination towards media so he did a certification course in Mass Communication from DU SOL, Delhi. Then a random man told him about the Bedi Brothers Wildlife Productions in Delhi and there he worked for eight months. He took a break for four-five months and started working with his contacts on freelance and he started to grow in this field. So far he has done many films, web series, ads, commercials and documentaries.

Kuldeep says that because of the Covid pandemic, his work was greatly impacted and it got reduced by fifty percent. Yet he has done whatever projects came to him.

Kuldeep considers his senior Sagar Sahay as his role model for teaching him a lot about this field and for helping him move ahead in his career. Apart from that, everyone who has ever supported him in any way is his role model.

Kuldeep advises the young generation that there is a lot of scope ahead in this field but you should be honest, hardworking, patient and punctual to make your career out of it. Other than this, do not judge yourself, leave that to others and then only will you be able to move forward. Never go for any project in your flurry in order to prove yourself because it will never help you get paid. Besides, you should have a complete knowledge of camera, equipment, composition, motion and other techniques before taking up any project.

Kuldeep likes to travel in his spare time and enjoys exploring new locations. In addition, he works on his new project and prepares for it.
