Dr Kshitij Paliwal is a Medical Practitioner running a clinic and pursuing his Master’s simultaneously. He understood his inclination toward Biology during his eleventh grade and worked consistently in the same field to make a professional career.

Dr Kshitij Paliwal is a 2019 batch MBBS graduate running his personal practice at his clinic - Shri Vallabh Clinic in Kankroli and simultaneously preparing for his master’s. Previously, he worked at the Fortis JK Hospital in Udaipur as a Junior Resident in Medical ICU under Dr Chetan. Then, he worked as a Medical Officer Incharge of PHC Lawa Sardargarh in Amet Block in Rajsamand for almost ten months.

Dr Kshitij had never been interested in the medical field. One of his friends aspired to be a doctor, but Dr Kshitij never imagined being one. Although his grasping power and intellect were strong, he had a lazy and casual approach to studies, as he says. Therefore, his father admitted him to tuition classes during high school. The Genetics chapter intrigued him and thus, he made up his mind to choose Biology in higher standards. Later, he went to Kota, prepared for PMT, and cracked the exam with flying colours to get admission to NIMS Medical College, Jaipur campus.

Dr Kshitij is influenced by some prominent sports personalities like Virat Kohli for his confidence and strength of character, MS Dhoni for his mindset and outlook towards life, and the social activist, Neelam Katara for her courage and resilience. He admires their principles and values and wants to imbibe them in his life.

During the first wave of Covid, Dr Kshitj worked too much as the load was heavy and the medical staff was in scarcity. The Amet Block had a population of almost one lakh and twenty-five thousand against four doctors. It was a professionally and personally challenging time for him.

After working almost all day and night, Dr Kshitj left his job as a Medical officer and committed himself to his master’s preparations. However, being motivated by his father, he opened his personal clinic and started practising. Then, during the second wave, it was again challenging as he was infected with the virus and still had to look after the patients. However, Dr Kshitij counts the positives by saying that he had to work too much during Covid but was happy to work at the grass-root level.

If Dr Kshitij gets a Time Machine, he would like to go back to his teenage days and give some knowledge and wisdom to his teenage self to make better decisions at the right time.

In his free time, Dr Kshitij loves driving his car, listening to music, watching movies and TV series, having delicious food, and chilling at home.

According to Dr Kshitij, there cannot be a universal success mantra for every situation in life. Every situation demands a different solution. Thus, he advises everyone to deal differently with different situations. He also advises the youngsters to broaden their minds, always invest in some kind of work, and generate ideas. Work consistently and with proper breaks. Moreover, Dr Kshitij believes in taking work as a routine and taking care of one’s mental and physical health for guaranteed success.
