Kshitij had no idea as to what he wanted to do after completing his education. That’s when he joined his father’s business and scaled it up. Later he also established his IT company by the name of Tarangsoft Solutions LLP in Udaipur and is successfully running it.

Kshitij Kumbhat was born and brought up in Udaipur. He completed his schooling at St. Paul’s School, Udaipur, and has done B.Com. from MLSU, Udaipur. He has also done a master’s in international business and an LLB.

Kshitij’s father used to own a business of nonferrous materials. When Kshitiz had completed his education, his father asked him as to what he wanted to do next? Kshitij had no idea and he joined his father’s business. Kshitij would apply his knowledge and was able to scale up his family business.

Kshitij says that whilst completing his college education, he also did a course in computer programming. That’s when he developed an interest in IT. He designed a CRM software for his firm. He realized that he can do something in IT too. And that’s when Tarangsoft Solutions LLP was conceived. Now he is successfully running his IT company in Udaipur.

Talking about setbacks in his life Kshitij says that in his business his father used to take care of everything. But when he passed away Kshitij had to shoulder the responsibilities. He had never handled the business all by himself and it took him a couple of months before he could learn the nuances of his business.

Kshitij considers his father his role model. He says that his father imparted his learnings to him. His father would groom them well and would engage them in fun activities that would develop them holistically.

In every problem, there is a solution!

Kshitij says that ups and downs are a part of every business. He too has gone through many ups and downs in his business and life. He says that sometimes due to the unavailability of material in the market he would face problems. Sometimes he himself would go abroad to procure the material so that his client would not have to face any bottlenecks.

Kshitij believes that in every business it’s very important to understand the requirements of your clients and serve them accordingly.

Kshitij is of the opinion that leadership is not about leading the people. It’s about understanding the problems of the people and solving them.

To anyone who wants to come into the IT Industry, Kshitij advises that you should do your market research properly first. You should have a plan laid out as to what are you going to do going forward?

If he could go back in time and choose a different profession, he would still want to be in the same profession as he is today. Because it was his own decision to come into the IT sector and he is happy with that.

Reflecting on his childhood Kshitij says that he was a naughty kid. He dreaded his father. Whenever he would be playing cricket and his father would arrive, he would rush back home quickly and pretend to study.

Kshitij is of the opinion that education with experience is important. You should focus on your education to have a better career.

Apart from his work, he loves watching movies and to spend time with his family to unwind.
