Kritika has over a decade of journalism experience, having started in 2006 as a host on TV and becoming a CSR Coordinator. She believes presentation is essential in journalism.

Kritika Choubisa is an experienced TV Anchor working at ATN News, a media channel in Udaipur.

Kritika was born and brought up in Udaipur itself. She has an M.Sc. in Child Development from M.B. Science College of Udaipur. She says that she used to play outdoor games during her childhood, and she misses her childhood a lot.

Kritika started her career in 2006, when she joined News 24. This was during the time when she was still pursuing her education. After her graduation, Kritika worked for some regional channels. She hosted a program called  ‘Nari Shakti’, which earned her much-needed recognition amongst the masses. Later she became a CSR Coordinator in a project called ‘Sakhi’ run by Hindustan Zinc Ltd. Throughout her career, Kritika got involved in multiple initiatives related to women's empowerment.

Talking about challenges, Kritika says she did not face major challenges, but there were difficulties in her life. It was difficult for her to take care of her child along with her job.

Sharing her COVID-19 pandemic experience, Kritika says we have learned many things from the pandemic. We had time to take a break and sit with our families. However, after some time, people started missing going back outside. However, coming from a journalism background, she continued to report during the lockdown.

Kritika states that journalism is nowadays an emerging industry, in which more and more students are deciding to pursue their careers. She says that if any student has the talent to perform and oration skills, then there is tremendous scope for them in the field of journalism.

When asked about her role models, Kritika says her role model is her father, and she always tries to imbibe his nature, behavior, and his skills.

Kritika believes that education is a basic requirement in this field, but the key to success is experience because, in journalism, a person can only succeed and learn after doing the fieldwork and dealing with various types of people and situations.

Whenever Kritika is free from her busy schedule, she likes to dance, sing songs, and also paint.

Kritika says if she gets an opportunity to go back in time in a time machine, she would like to relive her childhood days.
