Recalling his childhood, Prof. Dave says he was born in a small village. He completed his primary education there before moving to Udaipur to pursue his higher education. He considers himself fortunate to have had supportive parents who played a pivotal role in his progress.

Throughout his life, Prof. Dave has maintained a sterling reputation. He has earned respect among his colleagues, family, friends, and classmates. His academic pursuits include a B.Sc., followed by an MBA, and culminating in a Ph.D. These accomplishments showcase his dedication and thirst for knowledge.

After completing his MBA, Prof. Krishna Kant embarked on a professional career. He started as a project trainee in Hindustan Lever, where he gained valuable experience for six months. He then joined a textile company, where he served as an MIS executive in the stores. With unwavering determination, he worked diligently and acquired a strong foundation in industry operations.

His expertise led him to a multinational company where he held the position of Manager - Finance and Accounts for six to seven years. Seeking further growth and challenges, he took on the role of CEO in another private company which used to manufacture gangsaws. This extensive industry experience spanned ten years and shaped him into a seasoned professional.

Driven by a desire to share his knowledge and contribute to the academic world, Prof. Dave made the decision to join Pacific University in 2006, where he rose from being an Assistant Professor to the position of President of the university.This remarkable achievement reflects his unwavering passion and commitment to his work. He says that wherever he worked, he worked with full commitment and honesty and enjoyed his work considering the organisation as his own.

When asked about his role models, Prof. Krishna Kant expresses his admiration for Swami Vivekananda and his enduring mantra of "stop not till the goal is reached." He was inspired by Swami Vivekananda's powerful speech in Chicago, where the spiritual leader had exuded a remarkable aura and displayed his extensive knowledge gained from his avid reading habits. This motivated Prof. Krishna Kant to excel in the field of education. He firmly believes in the importance of relentless work till your last breath, never settling for mediocrity, and always striving for personal and professional growth.

As a passionate advocate of education, Prof. Dave follows the path of Swami Vivekananda, hoping to inspire students who look up to him. He believes that by leading through example, he can impart values and morals that will continue to guide future generations.

With a focus on humility, helping others, and maintaining a positive attitude, Prof. Dave believes that everyone has the choice to either take action or remain idle. He emphasises that those who choose to take action should do so with happiness and love for what they do, as this is a common attribute among successful individuals like Ronal Reagan, George Washington and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Reflecting on his struggles, Prof. Dave acknowledges the numerous obstacles he encountered on his path to success. Moving from a small village to the city presented challenges in terms of interacting with people and developing his personality and values. Additionally, he experienced disappointment when he was not selected for the PMT (Pre-Medical Test). However, he chose to remain optimistic and pursued an MBA, which proved to be a pivotal decision. He firmly believes that maintaining a positive mindset can make any journey easier.

From being a top-performing student in school to achieving similar success in college, he progressed through various roles in the corporate world, ultimately rising to the position of CEO.
