Konchog Tenzin has been running a clothing stall in Udaipur’s Tibetan Market for several years.
He was born in the small town of Jubbal in Himachal Pradesh and lived there for twenty years. Later , he moved to Udaipur, the city of lakes in Rajasthan, to sell winter clothes at the famous Tibetan Market.
Konchog completed his education up to the fifth grade at the Kendriya Vidyalaya for Tibetans and then pursued five years of study at the Sampurnanand Sanskrit University in Varanasi. He lost his father at a young age and since then, he has taken over his father's business of selling winter clothes in the Tibetan market.
When asked about his achievements, Konchog humbly states that while he may not have accomplished much in life, he takes pride in sponsoring the education of four children from poor families in Tibet with his earnings. He considers this the greatest achievement of his life and finds much satisfaction in it.
Additionally, Tenzin expresses contentment with the profits he makes from his shop and the success he has attained so far. He believes that success, whether it comes early or late, should be pursued with continuous learning and effort.
In his free time, Konchog enjoys travelling and aims to explore the world. Every year, he sets aside some time to travel around the world and thus move closer to this goal.
Sharing some advice, Konchog says that everyone faces obstacles in life, but by considering the struggles of those less fortunate, one should move forward and overcome their problems in life.
