Komal never believed in herself and always underestimated her abilities, due to which she missed out on many things in life. But because of her father’s faith and belief in her, she turned out to be a successful person and was able to move forward in life.

Komal Tongra is a Business Analyst at Techtree IT Systems, Noida. She has a working experience of ten-and-a-half years.

Komal belongs to Alwar. During her school days, she had always been an average student. She was not at all decisive about her future goals as to what she wanted to do. She used to get inspired seeing different people and thought that this is what she has to be. Remembering her childhood time, she says that she used to go to her grandmother’s place in summer vacations and had fun there. She says that she grew up in an educational background as her mother was an English Lecturer and her father was a Mathematics Teacher. She did her schooling from a Hindi medium Government School in Alwar. Then she did BCA and MCA.

Talking about challenges in her life, Komal says that when she got her first job, she felt apprehensive about how she would manage to work and she found her early career days to be very challenging because she had no confidence in herself at all. Because of her introverted nature, she faced some difficulties moving ahead in her career, most importantly when she became a Business Analyst. Then she gradually started to change herself. Another challenge was that initially she was a workaholic.

Komal’s father has always been her role model as he always encouraged and motivated her towards her professional growth and assured her that she would do something good in life. Her father put so much faith in her due to which she has become what she is today. Apart from this, her manager, Ripudaman Singh and HR heads, Adil and Renu Mehra motivated her a lot in her initial days of work. She also considers her husband as a role model because he is very focussed about her career and supports her in moving forward.

Komal is fond of dancing and singing in her spare time. Apart from this, she loves to travel, especially going on solo trips. She also enjoys sky gazing and feeling the wind.

Talking about her achievements, Komal says that she now realizes that a dull personality like her has made a place in the minds of people who did not even acknowledge her presence and are now respecting her opinion and asking for her suggestions and she thinks this is nothing less than an achievement. Apart from this, her brother also feels very proud of her that despite being a girl, she struggled a lot in life and has reached this point. In her office too, she has started getting a lot of attention now which is a big deal for her.

Komal advises the young generation that before getting into any job you should be a good listener, you should be hard working and keep the mindset to move forward while facing all the challenges. You should never let yourself get demotivated and while boosting yourself, you should move ahead.

If Komal gets a chance to go back in time, she would like to go back to her college life to live and enjoy that time because being studious, she missed out on all the fun.

Komal suggests to every girl and mother that don’t limit your life and don’t forget to live it because of the responsibilities of your family. It is very important to live your life and live it freely.
