Growing up with a love for organic farming, Komal has chosen it as her profession and now she is trying her best to excel in it and share her ideas with the masses.

Komal hails from Ajmer. She has been living in Udaipur for a while now because she wanted to be independent and set up her own career path. She started her journey by working at an NGO where she used to work as a facilitator and teach children art and craft. But her love for organic farming has brought her to Hygienic Subziwala, where she is currently working. She helps market the products by showing customers their value and benefits.

Talking about her childhood, Komal says her father being an artist, used to take her to a lot of places so she kept travelling all over India. Once he took her to a farm in MP where she spent six months. From there on, her love for organic farming started to develop, as she got to know about its benefits and how conventionally grown fruits and vegetables were harmful for the body because of the use of pesticides and insecticides in them.

Komal says that it was an ideology of her father that children should be independent once they enter their adulthood. In order to fulfil her father's wishes dutifully, Komal came to Udaipur in search of work. Initially, she faced a lot of challenges as a youngster as she was quite inexperienced but gradually, she got to learn a lot and things started running on track for her.

During the pandemic, Komal faced a lot of challenges as she had to travel to Ajmer to see her mother because she went through a surgery. It was tough for her to manage everything financially as well as mentally and emotionally, but she tried her best.

Komal’s biggest inspiration is Rituma, who is one of her father’s friends. Being a single woman at the age of fifty, the way she has managed everything despite all the hardships in life has inspired Komal a lot.

Komal’s take on the importance of education and experience is different. She thinks that education is important, but only if a person gets to learn something practical and is able to implement that in real life.

If she could go back in time, Komal would like to fix all the mistakes she made and all the opportunities she missed in her past.

In her free time, being an artist, Komal loves to do creative things like designing jewellery from waste. She also loves to perform meditation and listen to Kabir Bhajans.
