Coming from a lower middle-class family, Kishan has faced many challenges in life and risen from every situation. He joined as the senior operator in Secure Meters and retired as a senior manager after providing services for thirty-three years.

Kishan Lal Sharma is the former manager at Secure Meters and belongs to Udaipur.

Recalling his childhood, Kishan says that he had a struggling childhood. He used to help his father with his carpentry work. He was inspired by his father's hard work and dedication to his work. He did want to continue in the family’s traditional work and was inclined towards the technical field. So he pursued ITI and also got a scholarship for it. Thereafter, he got selected for RAPP in Rawatbhata but could not join it as it would require him to fulfill a seven-year bond. He joined RSEB in Banswara as a radio technician. He worked there for three years, and on his superior's encouragement, he left his government job and came back to Udaipur to start his own business. But he could not manage the fund, and sales were not increasing. He had to close his business and join a company in Udaipur so as to gain financial stability in his life. After that, he also got married.

When asked about his role models, Kishan says that Sanjay Singhal, the managing director of Secure Meters, is his inspiration and has always guided him, and because of his insistence, he joined Secure Meters. He also drew inspiration from his father.

Comparing the two, Kishan says that education is necessary to climb the ladder of success, and he feels that if he had more education qualifications, he could have achieved much more.

If he could go back in time, Kishan would want to gain more technical education and reach a higher managerial position.
