Kiran Padhi is the Founder of ‘Emerge Transformation’ and a Breakthrough Leader. She works with women enabling them to break through their personal barriers in order to accelerate growth in their career and relationships. She is also the Founder of ‘Linkedin Local Women India’, where she provides a platform to women to connect to each other and collaborate together.
Kiran hails from Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. She did her schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya. She says she had always been one of the top three rankers in school along with being active in co-curricular activities and competitions. Due to her helping nature, she used to help her juniors in studies and they also used to get good ranks in school.
Kiran did her MBA in Human Resources from SCMLD, Pune and kicked off her professional journey with Eclerx Services Private Limited, Mumbai. During her job, she was impressed to see the work of professional coaches by the way they transform the lives of corporate executives and professionals. She did several professional coaching and training certification courses and started applying them in her own organization. Soon she had to take a break from her work due to some health issues and that’s when ‘Emerge Transformation' took birth.
Kiran considers her husband as her role model for always having faith in her, and supporting and motivating her to move ahead in her professional career. In addition, her sisters are her role models for standing by her at every turn of life. Apart from this, she takes inspiration from Tony Robbins, Blair Singer, Vikram Dhar and Anil Dagia in the space of Life and Business Coaching.
Talking about her struggles, Kiran says that because of her procrastinating nature, she had stumbled a lot in life and even failed several times which she considers as her mistake but she acknowledges it and tries to avoid doing that. Apart from this, she says that despite being a topper of her class, she could not clear her medical entrance exam twice and consequently, she had to change her field. That was a challenging time for her.
Kiran’s Success Mantra is to have three things in life; growth mindset, learning, implementing and teaching and the principle of attitude of gratitude and giving.
To all the newcomers, Kiran suggests to show their worth by bringing in new, innovative and best practices in their organizations. She recommends them to keep upgrading yourself with time and keep developing skills to stay on top and advance in your professional career. She also advises them to procure every little knowledge about your industry and keep digging into it so that you can scale high.
In her spare time, Kiran enjoys staying at home and spending time with her husband. Along with this, she likes watching web series, listening to music, singing and dancing and that’s why she is learning Kathak too.
