A dedicated dairy keeper, Khemraj Sharma is working hard in his field, taking care of the animals in a professional way and making a living.

Khemraj is working as an officer in the Dairy Unit of Vidya Bhawan Krishi Vigyan Kendra in Udaipur. He also looks after the accounts department. He has been working in this institute for 26 years.

Khemraj was brought up in Kurabad village near Udaipur. He took his primary and secondary education in his village. He did his post-graduation in Political Science and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Rural Development and has also taken training for basic education in computers.

Recalling his childhood memories, Khemraj says that once he went to visit a fair. He became hungry and had no money to buy anything. So he asked the restaurant owner to give him some work and then give him something to eat. Instead of begging or indulging in any unfair means, he worked and ate. Then onwards, he learned with this incident how to work and make a living, proudly says Khemraj.

When asked about his role models in life, Khemraj says that Dr. Abdul Hasan is his role model whose energetic and positive attitude always inspires him.

Sharing about his Covid experience, Khemraj says that he and his colleagues worked with double energy during the pandemic in his dairy.

For the dairy aspirants, Khemraj suggests that only bookish knowledge is not enough. One has to enter the field and gain practical experience.

In his spare time, Khemraj likes to spend time with his family.
