Khagesh Joshi has been working as an Assistant Professor at Pacific Institute of Business Studies, Udaipur for the past six years.
Khagesh is a CS. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD from BN College, Udaipur. He holds more than ten years of teaching experience.
Khagesh was born and raised in Udaipur. He went to St. Anthony’s School. In his high school, he studied in Science-Bio and Math stream. But later shifted to Commerce stream. He completed his CS and CA till the intermediate stage. He was always interested in teaching and would teach his fellow students and hence he chose the teaching profession as his career.
He started his teaching career with Aravali College in Banswara. Later he worked at a girls’ college in Banswara itself. Then he started working as an Assistant Professor at Pacific University, Udaipur.
Khagesh says that in his time there was a lack of proper guidance with regard to choosing a career but now there’s ample guidance available on the Internet.
Khagesh shares that it was very tough and challenging for him to balance his studies and articleship when he was pursuing CA. Khagesh was a bright student at school. He was also elected Vice Captain and the Captain of his house and this showed his leadership qualities early on.
Khagesh considers being able to clear CS and CA examinations as his achievements as these are very competitive courses as he says.
Khagesh shares that the Covid pandemic rendered him an opportunity to reflect on his life. During the pandemic, he read his subjects thoroughly to gain more knowledge on the subjects that he teaches. He also adds that the pandemic was a financially tough time for everyone but it gave us the opportunity to be with our families and manage our time well. It also taught us the importance of our life and good health.
He considers freedom fighter Bhagat Singh as his role model and inspiration. Besides, he also takes inspiration from PM Narendra Modi.
His success mantra is finding balance in life. He says that each and every aspect of life is equally important.
Khagesh advises youngsters that there’s no shortcut to success, only with your hard work and dedication you can achieve your goals. Besides, not just hard work, smart work is also needed to succeed.
