Despite being partially blind, Ketan pursued his dreams of being a tattoo artist and business owner despite his lack of vision.

Ketan S. Saindane is working as a tattoo artist in Mumbai. Ketan is the owner of the well-known, 15-year-old, Navi Mumbai-based tattoo studio "Inkholics," which has won numerous international accolades.

After completing  his graduation, Ketan also completed a five-year arts program at the L. S. Raheja School of Art.

Describing his childhood, Ketan says that despite having low vision, drawing has always been his love and passion. By birth, the vision in his left eye is only 20%. He says he only needed a pencil and some paper to enter his creative state and escape the world of books. He had such a command over drawing that he frequently represented his school and took first place in contests. He knew what he intended to do with his life by the time he passed his school examinations. He desired a career in the arts.

Speaking about his challenges, Ketan says he struggled for a few days after partially losing his vision. He refused to accept that he was no longer capable of performing tattoos.He was determined to continue practicing this art because he had worked hard to get through the tattoo industry's recession. He was living in a period when the tattoo business was growing, so there was no way he was giving it up. As an individual, he is still attempting to manage his daily activities, but as an artist and businessman, he quickly made the decision to teach tattooing to both his coworkers and his students in order to ensure that his legacy endures.

Ketan offers his piece of advice to prospective tattoo artists, telling them that his passion has been the source of his success and that they ought to become tattoo artists if they can't imagine their lives without the art. Additionally, tattooing requires practice, just like any other type of creative art. Besides, maintaining relationships with everyone in the field is crucial to success. Finally, he advises trying to stay updated with the latest techniques.

When asked who his role models are, Ketan replies that he thinks of everyone who has helped and supported him along the way as a role model.

In his spare time, Ketan enjoys exploring anything connected to the arts, such as doing crafts or playing musical instruments.
