Her second channel is on ‘Motivational speaking’ and the third one is on ‘Cooking’ where she shares Indian vegetarian cuisines and teaches to cook in the simplest and healthiest ways.
Kavita says that she was married at the age of 23 and it changed her life. She didn’t know how to wear a Saree and coming to an orthodox family she had to learn to do so. However, she decided to bring innovation to it and started wearing the saree in different styles.
The same happened with her Cooking. She had never cooked at her home before marriage. Even after marriage, her husband never asked her to learn cooking and always motivated her to invest her time in some valuable learning. However, Kavita wanted to do something for her husband who was a foodie himself and she learned cooking. Now she bakes and cooks all types of cuisines.
A setback in her life came when she was 32 and lost her husband. Kavita shares that it was the darkest time for her and she was in shock and depression. She was left broken emotionally and financially. Many of her relatives and in-laws took advantage of her situation and she was left penniless. Her son was just a year and a half at that time.
However, Kavita says, she never wanted to be dependent on her parents and took a job. She wanted to live with dignity and respect. Her family completely supported her.
Kavita shares that being a single mother for five years was not an easy thing. She had to find happy moments to keep herself and her son cheerful. She even celebrated Valentine's day with her son and went on a trip to Thailand. Kavita got remarried recently and is all praise for her husband who is also very supportive of her.
Kavita says that there have been many Role Models in her life. First, her grandmother was an Iron Lady of her time. She always insisted on the education of girls even in those times. She advocated that girls should try to be independent in life. Then her father also inspired her and she cannot sum up his contribution to her life in a single line. Her husband also supported her through thick and thin and motivated Kavita to work and learn new things in life. She is also inspired by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
