Mentored by renowned poet Madhav Darak, Ajatshatru emerged as a captivating poet, earning widespread acclaim. He authored five remarkable poetry books, notably 'Aadhi Katori Chandani,' a top seller at the World Book Fair. His verses, such as 'Gora Badal Rajasthan' and 'Kavita Zindabad,' have garnered global appreciation.

Ajatshatru is a renowned poet and author. He hails from the city of lakes, Udaipur.

Reflecting on his early years, he attributes his immersion in the world of poetry not to mere coincidence but as a family legacy passed down from his father and elder siblings. Recalling his school days, he vividly remembers reciting poems on several occasions and garnering significant appreciation.

Detailing his poetic journey, he credits the renowned poet Madhav Darak for mentoring him and providing him with the opportunity to recite his poem at his first Kavi Sammelan in Koliyari. The recognition he received during this event solidified his conviction that his destiny lay in the realm of poetry. He remembers he earned two fifty-rupee notes as a token of appreciation there. Thereafter, he never looked behind and kept moving forward with unwavering determination.

Ajatshatru firmly believes that every poet has their own unique ability to create and shares that he has written and published five poetry books. He passionately recites a poem titled ‘Gora Badal Rajasthan’, a heartfelt composition glorifying Rajasthan that garnered widespread acclaim and recognition. Underscoring the influential power of poetry, he shares another cherished piece, 'Kavita Zindabad', asserting the ability of verse to convey messages globally.

Sharing about his works, Ajatshatru says he has written poems in every genre, including Hasya, Shringar, and many more. He imparts a lesson learned from his guru: one needs to be compassionate and sensitive to pain in order to craft poetry that reaches the hearts of millions. He regularly participates in Kavi Sammelans. One of his books, ‘Aadhi Katori Chandani’, was among the top ten best-selling books at the World Book Fair. He has written some astounding books, including ‘Jis Nadi ka Samandar Nahi’, ‘Chunavi Gorakh Dhandha’, and ‘Guru Mahima’, and is currently working on his new book.

Sharing about his journey, Ajatshatru shares that his parents worked at and dedicatedly gave their services to Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidhyapeeth. His parents' transfers exposed him to different people and situations, shaping his poetic expressions.

Regarding his role models, Ajatshatru says he draws inspiration from his parents. In the professional sphere, he is inspired by Gopaldas Neeraj, Surender Sharma, and Padma Shri Ashok Chakradhar.

Talking about his struggles, he emphasises that challenges are inherent in the journey to success. He recounts how he has progressed from owning just a bicycle to how he now has a Fortuner SUV car. He compares his growth to a beautiful rose blossoming despite encountering thorns.

Ajatshatru finds joy in reading prose (Gadya) and quotations.

Advising budding poets, Ajatshatru encourages patience, extensive reading to broaden knowledge, real-time stage experiences for confidence-building, and leveraging mobile phones wisely. Stressing the importance of hard work, he urges young poets to respect their seniors.
