Kaushik has been employed for a number of years and is content with his life. He thinks that in order to work in this profession, one must possess the requisite education and financial vocabulary.

Kaushik Banerjee has been a senior coordinator in the finance department of Chambal Fertilisers since 2006.

Before working at Chambal, Kaushik worked for NCAB Group, Intel CPU, and many other companies in the finance department. He is an M.Com. degree holder. He also earned a diploma in export-import business management.

During COVID 19, Kaushik says that he had to face many challenges in office work. Most business communication was done through online meetings. He took the necessary precautions while visiting the office, if required. Commuting to his office was a challenge as there was no transportation during the lockdown. Financial auditing was also done during COVID 19, for which he had to commute to the workplace. However, he took some time for personal development during the pandemic and enjoyed time with his family. He also learned new recipes. According to him, the pandemic taught us the importance of health and fitness.

According to Kaushik, in this profession, graduation in the necessary field of study and a professional degree are required first. Subject knowledge comes next, and one must have sound financial knowledge. One must be well versed in accounting and have experience in bookkeeping. Finance requires accuracy and diligence. Priority-based work is frequent, and one must have patience and time management skills. In addition, one must be updated on the current scenario and the gradually shifting importance of AI in business.

Kaushik believes that education and experience are both important. A basic foundation is provided by education, whereas experience helps us grow in our professional careers.

When asked about his role models, Kaushik says that his maternal uncle is his role model. Under his guidance, he could accomplish a lot in life. He is grateful to his uncle for teaching him the necessary professional education and helping him develop accuracy in his work.

In his spare time, Kaushik likes to play chess, which is his favorite hobby. He always inspires his children to play chess and study during their free time.
