Karthik Reddy is a tattoo artist who runs a studio called ‘Karthik Tattoo Studio’.
Karthik was born in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh. He mentions that he had been artistic since childhood. He has completed a diploma course and is currently working towards completing his PhD.
Reflecting on his childhood, Karthik recalls facing many struggles but remained deeply interested in sports, even achieving a Black Belt in Karate. Additionally, he had a passion for art and created impressive drawings. Encouraged by friends who saw his talent, and supported by his mother, he pursued becoming a tattoo artist, thus becoming the first in his family to do so.
When asked about his role models, he mentions Mahesh Chavan, admiring his ability to create and explain clean and clear tattoos. He also looks up to Daniel Silva, an American celebrity tattoo artist.

Sharing his struggles, he reveals that he has been working since class 7, taking on various jobs. He explains that he aims to save all the money he earns from these side jobs to fund his passion for tattoos. He says that he is determined to self-educate and improve his skills through self-learning.
Karthik mentions participating in drawing competitions in the Kadapa district during his younger years, often winning first prize. Additionally, he boasts 150 medals in karate. In his free time, he continues to practice and refine his skills.
His advice to aspiring tattoo artists is to keep patience when working with clients. He encourages them to integrate innovative ideas into their designs and emphasizes the importance of creating meaningful tattoos. He believes that understanding how to craft tattoos that reflect the personality of the individual getting inked is crucial for success in the field.
