Karishma Dayer is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the Pacific Institute of Business Studies. She also gives guest lectures at Mohanlal Sukhadia University. Karishma is also working as an announcer at the All India Radio (Akashvani).
Karishma started her professional journey just after completing her secondary education. She already has more than 11 years of experience as a 27-year-old. Born and brought up in Udaipur, Karishma did her schooling at RMV School. Thereafter, she completed her post-graduation from Mohanlal Sukhadia University.
Karishma believes in keeping herself updated in her field of study and has cleared UGC-NET three times. Talking about her early days, Karishma shares that she was more of an introvert, but later, through practice, experience, and self-confidence, she could launch herself audaciously.
Talking about the pandemic, Karishma shares that the environment was full of negativity since many people lost their jobs and underwent financial crisis. During COVID, Karishma started giving lectures online in more than 12 countries and cities like Boston, London, Norway, and Singapore, to spread the Indian language and culture to foreign lands.
Karishma has a strong faith in God and regards Him as her role model, who would show her the way when she is lost in life.
Expressing her thoughts about leadership, Karishma feels that there are a number of aspects of leadership that can be learnt. She says that leadership can be learnt through practice and experience.
For those aspiring to get into academia, Karishma says that one has to adapt to this fast-changing world so as to thrive in the competitive environment.
Karishma feels that both education and experience go hand in hand. She adds that while education is beneficial at the initial stages, experience takes you forward in life.
If Karishma could go back in time via a Time Machine, she would like to relive every beautiful moment that she has experienced so far.
Karishma shares that she likes to spend time at home after staying out for long hours. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her family, listen to music, and watch YouTube videos.
