Karan Garg is the Founder of Agroha Business World, a business networking platform specifically meant to cater to the business owners from the Agarwal community. Together with this, he also manages IFW Techno Creations which is an IT company that he has been running for the last 22 years. He has over 2,000 clients through this company in India and in foreign markets.

His long time expertise in technology provided him with the background, the confidence and technical framework to conceptualize and implement a platform such as AGROHA.

Karan Garg explains that AGROHA operates on four pillars that include Networking, Learning, Bonding, and Growing. The members meet regularly in structured meetings held twice in a month where they share business opportunities and foster long term relationships. According to him, these meetings are well planned and they provide members with an opportunity to introduce their businesses, exchange tips, and do serious discussions and keep the communication going during lunch or dinner.

According to him, the learning aspect is centered on modern day issues of business owners. Changes in taxation are discussed, and members stay updated with new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence. According to him, this realization made him come up with something meaningful and sustainable.

Garg explains that the name ‘Agroha’ has a historical meaning. Agroha was the kingdom of Maharaja Agrasen in ancient times situated where modern day Hisar is in Haryana. Even though the kingdom is not physically present now, its legacy still exists among the Agarwal people. He says that by using this name, he makes sure that the members feel an emotional and cultural connection with the platform immediately.

He also states that the word AGROHA used in the name of the platform is an abbreviation of Agarwal Global Relationship Organization of Human Aspirations. ‘Membership by invitation-only’ is the model adopted by the platform to preserve trust and credibility of the platform. He says that the initial chapter of the organisation was introduced in Jaipur in January 2026 that featured 55 members and the launching was witnessed by 65 attendees.

Talking about his childhood and early days Karan Garg says that he was born in Ajmer, Rajasthan into a family that was more oriented towards service and education than business. He states that his father was a banker and her mother was a school teacher. Both of them are retired now. Being raised in an organized and strict family taught him discipline, concentration and commitment.

He did his school education from St. Paul’s School in Udaipur and then proceeded to college in his home town. He found a deep interest in the field of Computers and Information Technology during his college life. Rather than taking a traditional career route, he decided to study various IT courses on various platforms to make his technical skills strong.

Garg shares he developed a technology oriented mindset due to this exposure to technology at early stages. He was born into a family that was not in business and he did not inherit any family business. He made his way forward through education and perseverance. His interest in digital systems slowly turned into entrepreneurial imagination which eventually made him start IFW Techno Creations.

Reflecting on his role models and inspirations, Karan Garg says that he is inspired by the two powerful business owners - Dhirubhai Ambani and Ratan Tata.

He states that he is highly inspired by the achievements of Dhirubhai Ambani. He is amazed by the way Ambani managed to establish an empire in the period when very few had ventured on a massive scale. This boldness to dream, go big and not be scared makes him have his own dream of AGROHA to not be restricted to India only but to become an international platform.

He explains that the life story of Ratan Tata planted several values inside him such as Business Ethics and Trust. In his view, a company that can conduct its business in a single-minded manner and gain the trust of the people will find growth in the long run. This very principle of trust is behind the relationship-based invitation-only system of getting membership of AGROHA.

Garg is a very strong believer of the quote that states, “There is no genius without a touch of madness.” He says that when people feel an idea to be unrealistic or ambitious, it usually means that such an idea is outside the box. In his opinion, transformative ideas are often not deemed sensible at the outset.
