Committed to taking care of stray birds and animals, Kapil works dedicatedly for their well being by providing for them safe drinking water. He has won multiple awards and recognitions for his untiring efforts.

Kapil Prajapat is a social worker, working tirelessly for the well being of stray birds and animals. He has been featured in the Influencer Book of Records for his selfless service to animals and birds.

Recalling his early years, Kapil says he completed his schooling until the tenth grade at Ajit Vidya Mandir, Sirohi. He did his further schooling at the government school in Sirohi itself. He is grateful to the principal of his school for his guidance and support.

Initially associated with the Khetlaji Yuva Mandal, Kapil teamed up with ten members and decided to work for the welfare of animals and birds. His initiative ‘Aao milkar pyas bujhaye’ in the summer of 2019 in Sirohi proved to be a good success. When the director of ‘People for Animals’ suggested that he put water bowls, he installed 100 of these water bowls around Rampura in the locations that birds and animals visit the most.

Despite the obstacles, Kapil continued to move forward. Since their work required his team members to roam around in hot summer, which could be harmful to their health, many of their parents were against it. However, he persuaded them of the initiative's benefits. He approached the media as it may help inspire many more to follow them. But he shares that the most challenging part was to convince the media to cover their initiative.

Kapil is pleased to share that from just 100 water bowls, he has successfully set up over 3500 bowls himself and distributed 5800 bowls to people.

Sharing about his achievements, Kapil says he holds two titles: being featured in the Influencer Book of Records and winning the Bird Saviour National Championship. In 2023, he was also awarded the Swami Vivekananda National Award and the Indian Icon 2023 Award at Kota.

Kapil encourages people to place food and water bowls for birds on their balconies and terraces.
