A dedicated professor, Kapil believes that struggles and criticism are helpful in achieving success. He always helps his students and also guides them to qualify for the top-level examinations.

Kapil Kumar Gautam is an Assistant Professor at the Geetanjali Institute of Technical Studies in Udaipur.

Kapil belongs to Bundi and completed his tenth from there. Afterwards, he moved to Kota for higher studies. He did his B.Tech. from CTAE, Udaipur. Then he pursued his post-graduation studies at NIT, Hamirpur. Currently, he is working in the Civil Engineering Department at GITS, Udaipur.

Kapil shares that when he was in tenth grade, he had to participate in a debate competition, but he was not able to do that because of some family reasons. His teacher admonished him for this, and this incident provoked him to push himself.  He worked hard and earned the top position in the tenth grade in his village. Afterwards, the words of his grandfather motivated him to choose the teaching profession.

Talking about his struggles, Kapil says that he faced many ups and downs in his journey but never gave up. He took a step back and then moved forward with double speed. During the difficult time, he also talked to his family and friends to overcome it.

Sharing his achievements, Kapil says that he cracked the GATE exam at the time of his engineering, which is the biggest accomplishment for him. Then he passed many other exams in his career.

Kapil’s role models are his teachers, who criticised him, and his grandfather, who always encouraged him. He also admires MS Dhoni, as he learned to be calm from him.

Kapil advises youngsters not to quit in any situation; take a step back, evaluate yourself, and then fight back with more confidence.

According to Kapil, education is important to bring politeness that enhances your knowledge. This will help you in gaining experience.

In his spare time, Kapil likes to play chess and cricket.

Even if given a time machine to go back in time, Kapil would not want to change anything from his past.
