Kanishk transitioned from business to the field of data analysis, pursuing further education in France. He attributes his success to self-belief and determination.

Kanishk Gupta works as a data analyst.

Kanishk was born and brought up in Delhi. He did his BBA from Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies.

Apart from business, Kanishk stepped  into the field of Data Analysis, which is used in business. It was a little technical, so he decided to pursue Data Analysis from France. Though it was not an easy journey for him.

People mostly ask him what he likes about his journey. Kanishk says, “It gave me an opportunity to realize who truly I am, because when we meet new people we tend to explore more about them.”

Talking about the course, Kanishk says it had many new things, like new analytical tools, that helped him build his analytical skills, research skills, presentation skills. It set him to drive himself into the Big Data industry which is one of the most booming industries in the world. He also feels that it’s the best thing that he has ever liked as it’s a highly creative field where you can expect wonders every day.

Kanishk says that his first accomplishment was his research. He thinks writing a research paper is not an easy task, he took the help of his professors and after all this he got success. It got published into international journals, which were ranked by Scoopers, ABDC Corporation and this achievement gave him recognition in terms of research and analytical skills.

His second achievement was to study abroad. He got to know about the term Triple Accreditation as only one per cent of the universities have it. So, he wanted to get admission into that and these published and unpublished research papers helped him crack the college interview admission process of ESA School of Management in France. And he got to explore more about himself, about new culture, and a new field of MBA, says Kanishk.

Comparing education and experience, Kanishk says that both education and experience are important. He feels that gaining knowledge and then putting it in practical use is needed to grow in life.

Kanishk says that he is inspired by the quote, “Work and you will get what you need, but if you work hard you will get what you want.’’

His success mantra is to believe in himself. If you will not believe in yourself, no one will ever do and also, be determined toward your goals.

When Covid struck, Kanishk was studying in France, but due to this sudden pandemic, he had to come back. As classes started going online, it became a little difficult to connect to professors. So, it was a big challenge for him, but he had to accomplish it because if you are doing something you can’t just lose it. So to sort out this problem, he made a proper plan and went accordingly.

Kanishk concludes by saying that changing your career from something different to another field, that too from a different country is not that easy. But it’s quite possible to do anything. You just have to stay determined and not let the fear of judgment of other people change your mind.
