This accomplishment holds special meaning for him, as it reflects his dedication and growth since he began practicing yoga. Competing on a national level was a rewarding experience, reinforcing his commitment to the discipline and inspiring him to continue sharing yoga's transformative impact with others.
Shedding light on his journey, Prajapati shares that he was born in a village, where he completed his education. He later moved to Jodhpur to seek treatment for his leg, a journey that ultimately led him to discover yoga. Inspired by its benefits, he pursued it further and eventually became a yoga teacher. Today, he also serves as a university lecturer, sharing his knowledge and passion for yoga with others.
Additionally, Kamlesh shares that during his college years, he often watched other students enjoying sports, though he couldn't join them due to his condition. On the advice of his guru, he decided to try yoga and began attending classes. Over time, he not only found joy and improvement through yoga but also started participating in yoga competitions. Eventually, he felt inspired to share the benefits of yoga with others and began teaching classes himself.
Recalling his childhood, Kamlesh fondly reflects on his early years spent in a village, where he never imagined he would one day become a yoga teacher. At that time, his life revolved around farming, and like many others, his primary goal was to find a steady job that would provide for his family. The idea of becoming a yoga teacher was far from his mind. However, life took an unexpected turn when he discovered the transformative power of yoga. After completing his graduation, Kamlesh decided to pursue a diploma in yoga, a decision that sparked a new passion. He later went on to earn a master’s degree in yoga, which solidified his commitment to this newfound path and opened the doors to a fulfilling career.
When asked about his role models, Prajapati shares that he draws immense inspiration from his gurus, Dr. Sumitra Dadich and Dr. Babulal Daima, whose guidance and mentorship played a pivotal role in shaping his career in the field of yoga. They not only helped him refine his practice but also instilled in him the dedication needed to excel in this discipline. In addition, Kamlesh is deeply inspired by his yoga teacher at Central Academy, who not only taught him the techniques of yoga but also imparted valuable life lessons that continue to influence his approach to both teaching and personal growth.
