Live your every day as if it were your last
Kamayani Tripathi was born and raised in Ajmer. She has completed her graduation in B.B.A and since last one year she has been working as a Customer Care Executive in the BPO company TTEC.
Kamayani faced hardships at a very young age as his family was going through a financial crisis. Her father was a property dealer and back in those days it was not a good source to earn income. Being the most beloved child, she could neither do household chores nor outside work. But seeing her family suffering, she learned everything. And that time taught her a lesson about life that no matter what happens, you can’t stay in the same situation forever, so you have to get up and work for yourself and your family.
After schooling, Kamayani started taking private tuitions at home to become a helping hand for her father. And after completion of her graduation, she entered into corporate life.
During the Covid pandemic, she felt alone and depressed because she has always been surrounded by people and it was a challenge for her to come out of that zone. Slowly, with time she learned to live alone and did yoga and meditation which helped her overcome negativity.
Kamayani advises the newcomers in the BPO sector that you should have good communication and language skills in addition to patience to deal with new clients daily. Also, don’t just take up this job on a temporary basis because BPO is one of the most growing sectors that can take you miles ahead.
Apart from work, Kamayani listens to music and likes to socialise with people, to party and also to discuss the future plans because she wishes to launch her own startup in the near future so she likes to get reactions and opinions from people by meeting them.
Kamayani opines that education plays a vital role but the lessons that life teaches us, comes only by experience because no book can teach that. Therefore, experience is more important than education.
Kamayani doesn’t have a particular role model, instead, she believes in learning from the people she lives with, as there is always something positive in every person and every such person inspires her in something or the other.
If she could time travel, she would like to relive her college days with her friends as they were the best days of her life.
Talking about leadership, she thinks that no one is born with a particular skill, so you cannot be a born leader but you can develop such skills with time.
Kamayani’s mother has always been her inspiration because she has been through a lot in life and yet stands strong and calm. Being strong and independent, her mother takes care of everyone and everything without complaining.
