A Usta kala artist, Mohammad Kaif, learned the art from his father and is working in his traditional field. He also tried his hands at modeling, but eventually decided to take up the traditional work being done by his family.

Mohammad Kaif is a Usta Kala Artist who hails from Bikaner, Rajasthan.

Talking about his childhood, Kaif says that he used to observe his father and learn this art. He has a degree in fine arts as well. Kaif says that there was a time when he started modeling as well and won Mr. Bikaner in 2017. However, after COVID, he returned to Usta art work.

Talking about his mistakes, Kaif says that he took a small gap in between and should not have done that. Also, he started a business and had to witness losses in it as well.

When asked about his role models, Kaif says that his father is his role model, as he has learned this art from his father.

Kaif says that his life mantra is to always keep chanting the name of Ustad Shaukat Ali and improving his art.

Advising the youth, Kaif says that the government organizes camps from time to time, and one can attend them to get a gist of the art. However, he also feels that it takes years to learn this art, and he has also been learning for the past twelve years.

In his free time, he likes traveling with his friend and playing online games.
