As a mother teacher, Jyoti takes great pleasure in teaching students, which also drives her back to her childhood days as she sees children grow in front of her.

Jyoti Panwar is a pre-primary teacher at Miranda Senior Secondary School. She has been working at the school for the past eight years.

Born and brought up in Udaipur, Jyoti studied at the RMV School.

When asked about her role models, Jyoti says she draws inspiration from her father, who never discriminated between a son and a daughter when it came to education. She gives the credit for her success to her father.

Jyoti advises aspiring teachers to exhibit good behavior and be friendly with the students.

Jyoti advises the youth to study and educate themselves in order to grow and be successful in their lives. On that note, she says that job selection should be based on capabilities and not some reservation policy.

Jyoti urges all parents to give enough time to their children on a personal level. She adds that parents should also try to understand the needs and desires of their children.

Jyoti feels inspired by the song ‘We shall overcome’ which she also sings to her students.
