Once uncertain about her career path, Jyoti discovered her passion for teaching and pursued higher education. Now living her dream as an Assistant Professor, she stresses the importance of education for women and the value of financial independence.

Jyoti Kataria works as an Assistant Professor at VIMS, Udaipur. She teaches Corporate Accounting, Accountancy and Business Tactics there. VIMS provides courses in commerce fields like BBA, MBA, and more, offering students numerous opportunities for career growth.

Originally from Udaipur, Jyoti completed her graduation and post-graduation there itself. Initially uncertain about her career path when she chose commerce in the 11th grade, she later decided to become a Lecturer in Accounting and Business Tactics after the 12th grade. Gradually, she developed a passion for teaching and pursued a master degree in the same, following it up by enrolling in a PhD program in Finance, which she is currently pursuing.

She firmly believes that she controls her own destiny and took full responsibility for achieving her dream of becoming a professor. Jyoti emphasizes the importance of educating women, stating that while marriage can wait, education cannot. She urges parents to prioritize their daughters' education.

Jyoti takes pride in her financial independence, having decided to support herself after her father refused to fund her masters studies. She emphasizes the importance of both education and experience in shaping one's career, with education providing opportunities and experience giving you the wings to navigate through challenges in a smarter way.
